Affinity Walk-In Clinic New Hours – Effective May 1
To become family practice physicians, medical school graduates must undertake postgraduate training in multiple primary care programs, including family medicine, pediatrics, and internal medicine. Family practice physicians are prepared to treat a wide variety of ages and health issues.
General Internal Medicine is the branch of medicine that deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Internists expertly treat the wide variety of illnesses and conditions that affect the adult population, and carefully monitor the complex treatment of multiple issues in a patient at one time. Since they are responsible for an intense level of comprehensive care, Internists are trained in-depth on caring for and collaborating on diverse and challenging patient problems.
