Affinity Nutritionists

A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is a health professional required to have a four-year Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a three-year Science Degree followed by a Master's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. A total of 1,200 hours of supervised practice is also required.

Since the title "nutritionist" is used by many unlicensed people to describe their involvement in food and nutrition related practice, you should be careful when choosing a qualified nutritional professional. At Affinity Health Group (Affinity), all our nutrition professionals are Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) and are licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana (LDNs).

Nutrition

Our RDN and LDNs provide nutritional counseling for preventive care and medical nutrition therapy for disease states for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients. Their goal is to provide their patients with a healthy method to cope with dietary restrictions and debilitations.
