Laura Willsher

Nurse Practitioner

Laura Willsher, Ed.D, APRN, BC, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeast Louisiana University (Now ULM), her Master of Science in Nursing at Northwestern State University, post masters FNP from Mississippi University for Women and Educational Doctorate Ed.D. from Grambling State University. She has over 34 years of nursing experience including Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units, home health and currently practices as a family and pediatric nurse practitioner. She also serves as an Assistant Professor of Graduate Nursing at Grambling State University. Laura is a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners (LANP), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) and National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners (NAPNAP). She is also a volunteer (VIP) for the Cerebral Palsy of Louisiana Telethon and is on the Board of Directors for Med Camps of Louisiana.
