Dr. Gary Jones

Dr. Gary Jones received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana (now ULM) and earned his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his residency training at Louisiana State University Family Practice in Monroe, Louisiana. Dr. Jones is a Board Certified Family Physician with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Jones is one of the founders of Vantage Health Plan, Inc. (Vantage) and has served as Vantage’s CEO and Medical Director since the company was founded in 1994. Vantage is a Louisiana-based Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and is headquartered in Monroe with a satellite office in Shreveport. Vantage offers several affordable plans for employees and their families or Medicare members. Affinity Health Group (Affinity), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vantage Health Plan, is a physician group medical practice with clinics and staff who provide care from a pediatric level to home health, and everything in between. Others specialize in various areas that promote healthy lifestyle maintenance and changes, such as: nutritional services, diabetic treatment and medication reviews.
