Dr. Kevin Bunn

Kevin J. Bunn, MD is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. He received his Bachelor of Science in Education specializing in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Georgia, his Master of Arts in Sports Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his Doctor of Medicine from University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill. He completed Orthopaedic Surgery training at The University of North Carolina Hospitals. Dr. Bunn then underwent advanced fellowship training in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Bunn began practicing Orthopaedic Surgery, Adult Reconstructive Surgery, and Joint Replacement Surgery in 2015 and joined Affinity Health Group in 2018. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association, and the Ouachita Medical Society. Dr. Bunn has given presentations at international Orthopaedic Surgery conferences and has published research articles in several medical and Orthopaedic Surgery journals. Dr. Bunn performs robotic total hip and knee replacements at Monroe Surgical Hospital and is the only surgeon in Northeast Louisiana who performs direct anterior total hip replacements.
