Anna Strahan-Chappuis
Nurse Practitioner
Anna Strahan-Chappuis is a New Orleans, Louisiana, native and has been a nurse practitioner since 2015.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from William Carey University and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama. Anna also holds a Family Nurse Practitioner Certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
What area of the healthcare field interests you most?
I worked in primary care, orthopedics and urgent care. I have found every area very rewarding in different ways. The best part of my job is all the patients I meet every day and feeling like I can make an impact on their lives, as they do mine.
What do you enjoy most about your job with AHG’s Population Health Department?
I enjoy working with our great team, as well as interacting with my patients I see every day and feeling like I can make their day.
What are some personal details about yourself you’d like to include?
I enjoy reading a good book, working out, watching Saints football—Who DAT!—and spending time with my husband and two children, Carson and Leighton.
