Diane Griener
Nurse Practitioner
Diane Griener is from New Orleans, Louisiana, and has been a nurse practitioner since 2018.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Holy Cross College in New Orleans and her master’s degree in nursing–Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University. Diane is accredited with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
What area of the healthcare field interests you most?
I really enjoy preventive health. I love empowering patients with knowledge to prevent major illnesses from becoming chronic medical conditions.
What do you enjoy most about your job with AHG’s Population Health Department?
I love the ability to spend quality time with the patients to discuss their overall health and their goals in becoming or staying healthy.
What are some personal details about yourself you’d like to include?
I love spending time with my husband and three children. I enjoy playing tennis and watching most sporting events. I love to read, travel and cook. I keep very busy, which makes me very happy. I also enjoy making my loved ones laugh.
