Tori Naquin

Nurse Practitioner

Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Tori Naquin has been a nurse practitioner since 2014.

She began her career as a licensed practical nurse, then earned her associate and bachelor’s degrees in nursing from Our Lady of the Lake College. She received her master’s degree in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University and is board-certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

What area of the healthcare field interests you most?
I have worked in several different healthcare fields, including pediatrics, endocrinology, primary care and population health. I have truly enjoyed each experience and have a passion for chronic care disease management and preventive healthcare.

What do you enjoy most about your job with AHG’s Population Health Department?
The thorough visits we complete on each member, as well as going above and beyond to ensure they are up to date on all preventive screenings, any chronic diseases are managed and they are adhering to their medication. I like assisting with social or behavioral needs. I also enjoy working with a very high-performing statewide team that truly cares for all our members.

What are some personal details about yourself you’d like to include?
I enjoy spending time with family, exercising, traveling and volunteering with my church community.
