What area of the healthcare field interests you most?
Throughout my career as a physician assistant, I have practiced in primary care, general and vascular surgery and now population health. Prior to entering PA school, I worked in gastroenterology. I think I still have an affinity for gastroenterology, and I still get to participate in that area daily by discussing screenings with my patients.

What do you enjoy most about your job with AHG’s Population Health Department?
I have had the privilege of working in the Population Health Department since 2018. I really enjoy the structure of our visits, which gives me the ability to get to know our members and patients on a more personal level. I enjoy the genuine appreciation expressed by our members and patients for what our visits bring to their healthcare experience.

What are some personal details about yourself you’d like to include?
I have been married to my wife Heather since 2006, and we have three children. I enjoy hunting, LSU football and baseball and playing pickleball. I am very involved in my church, where I have been a member my entire life.
